Help with an error code

Find the code shown in PackMap Studio, then follow the recovery steps in order. If a red save warning is visible, keep the app open until saving succeeds.

Saving and storage

PM-SAVE-001

Project could not be saved

PackMap Studio could not write the latest changes, but no more specific cause was available. The open app may still hold those changes in memory.

  1. Keep PackMap Studio open.
  2. Choose Retry Save.
  3. Confirm the selected storage location is available.
  4. Check that the device has free space, then retry.
PM-SAVE-002

Storage permission denied

The system denied access to the project location, or the location is read-only.

  1. Keep the project open.
  2. Confirm the storage location is connected and writable.
  3. On Mac, review PackMap Studio access in Privacy & Security settings.
  4. Return to PackMap Studio and choose Retry Save.
PM-SAVE-003

Storage is full

The device, iCloud Drive, or selected volume has insufficient free space.

  1. Keep PackMap Studio open.
  2. Free space on the affected storage location.
  3. Return to PackMap Studio and choose Retry Save.
PM-SAVE-004

Storage location unavailable

The folder or volume is missing, disconnected, moved, or temporarily unavailable.

  1. Keep PackMap Studio open.
  2. Reconnect the drive or restore access to the original folder.
  3. Choose Retry Save.
PM-SAVE-005

App settings could not be saved

Project data may be safe, but an App Settings change was not persisted.

  1. Choose the retry action in App Settings.
  2. Check free space, system permissions, and iCloud availability.
  3. Reopen App Settings and confirm the value after retrying.

Internet and iCloud

PM-NET-001

No internet connection

The device is offline. Local projects can generally continue to work, but iCloud Drive and online features cannot finish.

  1. Keep the app open if a red save warning is visible.
  2. Reconnect Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or cellular data.
  3. Confirm another website or online service loads.
  4. Wait for iCloud Drive to reconnect, then choose Retry Save.
PM-NET-002

iCloud Drive unavailable

PackMap Studio cannot currently reach the selected iCloud Drive location.

  1. Confirm the device is online.
  2. Confirm the correct Apple Account is signed in and iCloud Drive is enabled.
  3. Open Files or Finder and verify that iCloud Drive is available.
  4. Return to PackMap Studio and choose Retry Save.
PM-NET-003

Network connection interrupted

The operation timed out, lost its connection, or could not reach the host.

  1. Check the internet connection.
  2. Wait briefly and retry the action once.
  3. If other sites work, check PackMap Studio service status or contact support.
PM-NET-004

Online service unavailable

Your connection works, but a required service is temporarily unavailable.

  1. Do not repeat the action rapidly.
  2. Wait a few minutes and try once more.
  3. Continue local work if the affected online feature is not required.
